Labor Day Weekend in Cincinnati

S & I went to Cincinnati for Labor Day Weekend to watch the Mets (even though we were too hot at the games to take pictures, we swear we went, ha!)

This was a gorgeous view from the 27th floor at the Hilton Netherland Plaza

These stairs in the hotel so were pretty & perfect for pictures.

Romper is from Francescas, but they just sold out so here are some other options romper 1romper 2 (under $6)romper 3 & romper 4 (my fav)

Shoes are from Dillards & also sold out, I must have great taste. I found some other suede color blocked mules to share with y'all. Cole Hahn Mules & Calvin Klein Mules

Anastasia Lip in Potion - I got so many compliments on this lip color & it stayed on all night, even with the beer, vodka, tequila, rosé, merlot & champagne. :)

Taft's Ale House was the perfect location for drinks & eats, S had a yummy flight of beer & I had a vodka tonic with a lime (my usual) & a jalapeño margarita. The marg was to die for yummy. The food was also delicious but we were so hungry we didn't get to take a picture.

Romper is from Bliss

Lavender latte & wine flights from 1215 Wine & Coffee Bar

Best. Brunch. Ever.  Taste of Belgium
I can barely contain myself looking at these pictures.

We took an uber to Hyde Park to explore & we found the precious fountain in the middle! Hyde Park was such a great area, sadly we went on a Sunday afternoon so almost everything was closed.

I still adore this dress from Bluetique, we have one in Market Square in Knoxville - I love the selections & staff at our store! Here is the dress from them in black

Stephen loves these Vineyard Vines Polos - they are so light weight & perfect for exploring a new city during the day & dinner at night. FYI he looks like that because I told the server it was his birthday (his birthday is in April but the Mets game was a birthday present, so technically, it was his birthday)

So happy to see a beautiful Sigma Kappa sister, Kristen, in Cincy!

Converse High Tops (I size down a full size in all of my chucks)
I promise I'm in shorts..

On the drive back from Cincy, we obviously needed a PSL..... and a HomeGoods break.

Can't wait for our next weekend trip.

Whitestone Country Inn

Stephen & I have been so busy lately, we bought our first house!!!! I will fill you in about the house later. For now, I'll tell you about the trip to Whitestone Country Inn that I surprised Stephen with to celebrate our first house!

On Friday, I made Stephen leave work early & drive us to Chattanooga, when we got to the exit for Whitestone, I made him get off and he was so confused. He had absolutely no idea where we were going. The exit for Whitestone is the same exit for his lake house. When we were 4 miles from the bed & breakfast he saw a Whitestone sign and said "Why is Whitestone so familiar?" - I then told him the plan for the night & how I had packed us bags in the car without him knowing. He was so excited.

I made dinner reservations at Whitestone for Friday night. We had a lovely dinner looking at the lake & mountains. (I just adore Tennessee) After dinner we had a ping pong match, that I obviously won. After ping pong we went on a walk & had a yummy bottle of wine.

This is the School House, there is a gift shop in the front & check-in. Our room was one of two in this precious building.

We stayed in the Indigo Bunting Suite - it was so relaxing and adorable!

The next morning we had an amazing breakfast & view, again.

Whitestone is so beautiful & relaxing. Such a great weekend getaway for anyone. It's so nice being so close to a retreat like this.
