Honeymooning at The Brando - Part 2

I'm The Brandows Do The Brando

For our next location, we went to Marlon Brando's private island Tetiaroa and stayed at The Brando for an amazing all inclusive week. This island was more than perfect. There are 35 villas on the island and we barely saw anyone else.  It was the perfect location to honeymoon.

This was our first view of The Brando on our private flight in. Absolutely perfect.

Each day we had a freshly made afternoon snack & champagne delivered to our villa. The snack in this picture is honey macaroons, they were delish.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa. Having our own beach access & plunge pool made the experience even more amazing.

This was our lunch spot almost every day. The lovely employees would bring my Mai Tai's to the ocean so I didn't have to get out. :)

Stephen surprised me with a private dinner in our backyard. We had a 5 course dinner, champagne, wine and it was followed by an outdoor rose petal bath drawn for us.

We fell in love with the Varua Polynesian Spa. The staff was incredible. While we were there I had a Taurumi massage, Oriental blend massage, Indian Head massage, facial,  Head to Toe body scrub, body wrap and steam bath. I could live in the spa.

We spent a lot of time after the spa at the waterfall & tea lounge to relax after our spa treatments.

We each had our own bike during our stay. We rode the bike to the bar, spa, dinner & exploring. However, if we didn't want to ride our bikes, we were easily able to walk or call a golf cart.
*I only wrecked two times...

This is the world-class wine cellar in the center of Les Mutinés. The restaurant was incredibly delicious, classy and romantic. It was the best food we have ever had. period. It was inspired by Le Grand Véfour, a two star Michelin restaurant in Paris.

I ate my weight in Nutella crepes, it's fine.

We spent one full day paddle boarding & then getting bottle service by the pool.

The inner child is out.

This was our private entrance to our villa.

It was so hard to leave this perfectly named island.

This was our view from my seat on the plane. It was a bit rocky in the rain on the flight out, but it was definitely worth it.

It's not goodbye, it's see you later.

The last location of our honeymoon will be up soon...

  1. There is a humbling feeling you receive as you go to venues like this. A sweeping era of romance was born here, and it's clear why. One of the most beautiful Chicago event space I have visited anywhere in God's beautiful World and I have been nearly everywhere imaginable!
